We invite you to submit your original story for consideration to be performed during our upcoming show on October 5, 2024.

Theme:

The theme of our show is centered around the powerful narratives of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility. We are seeking stories that highlight personal experiences, challenges overcome, and moments of triumph related to these important values.

Submission Guidelines:

Format: Submit a written story suitable for a live performance. Stories should be engaging, heartfelt, and demonstrate the theme effectively.

Length: Stories should be approximately 5-7 minutes when performed (around 800-1200 words).

Originality: We are looking for original stories that have not been previously published or performed elsewhere.

Tone and Language: Please ensure your story is inclusive and respectful of all audiences.

How to Submit:

• Email your story as a Word document or PDF to bigidea@missouriequity.com.

• Include your name, contact information, and a brief bio (100 words max) in the body of the email.

• Use the subject line: "Big IDEA Stories Submission - [Your Name]"

Deadline:  The deadline for submissions is July 15, 2024. Late submissions will not be considered.
