Coalitions and Partnerships
Coalitions and partnerships are an important part of the MO Equity Education Partnership’s organizing strategy. Through these relationships we accomplish numerous goals: utilizing our collective power to support Missourians, receiving feedback from the people and communities we hope to serve, and modeling the inclusive spaces for which we advocate.
Below, you will find a list of the coalitions we are members of and the partners we work closely with, as well as links to their pages and resources.
Let Them Learn/Y’all Means All Coalition
This coalition began in 2021 in response to the attacks on critical race theory in our state. It is comprised of several statewide organizations and individuals who organize in Jefferson City to ensure our legislators are educated on the issues and bills they are presenting, as well as ensure a significant presence of pro-equity supporters to testify and advocate.
When attacks changed to our LGBTQ+, especially trans, community members, we partnered with PROMO, Missouri’s statewide LGBTQ advocacy organization, to continue to fight for equity.
For more information about joining as an organizational representative or an individual, please contact Heather Fleming at heather@missouriequity.com.
